Weezer break up? Let $10 million decide...

Someone really wants the breakup of Weezer. And is willing to pay $10 million to do so. Not all of his money, but through a fund raising campaign that he is putting on to end the band.
James Burns, a Seattle native, found this idea when he was getting tired of the music that the band was putting out. He believes the band has not made anything significant musically since The Green Album and has been lingering around for 15 years with nothing to show for it. He says if he can get 852,000 people to donate the $12 donation, they can raise the money for the breakup.

Weezer's response?
Drummer, Patrick Wilson posted on his Twitter, “if they can make it 20, we’ll do the “deluxe breakup”!


We can wait and see what happens on this issue, just think it is awfully funny how much effort this man is putting in to get rid of them.

Weezer cover art for new album "Death to False Metal"

Weezer is at it again with another new album coming out in just under a month. Even though Weezer just put out Hurley, which was released in September, Weezer is putting out their newest album November 2nd titled, Death To False Metal.

According to Brian Bell, it is a collection of songs which project was initially titled Odds and Ends but was later renamed. The concept was to take all of Weezer's B-Side tracks that did not make the records and put them all on one CD. The songs are rumored to be from the early 90's to current Weezer tracks, so it should have a wide array of Weezer's style.
